Job description
BAM Nuttall requires an experienced Project Health and Safety Advisor to join us in Scotland and support the delivery of our Creag DhubhA substation in the Argyll and Bute area on the West Coast of Scotland.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and enforce health and safety policies and procedures on-site.
Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards and mitigate risks.
Provide health and safety training to project staff and contractors.
Maintain and update safety records and documentation..
Liaise with project management teams to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a health and safety role, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.
NEBOSH or equivalent health and safety certification.
A deep understanding of the rules and laws that govern health and safety.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Work Hours
Standard workweek: 24 hours, Monday to Friday.
Flexibility may be required depending on project needs.
