The Kitchen Helper will be very important to our kitchen operations because they will help keep it clean, prepare food, and run smoothly overall.
Responsibilities:
- Help the cooking staff and cooks with easy tasks like making food.
- Do things like wash the dishes, clean the tools, and scrub the work areas to keep the kitchen clean and germ-free.
- Sort and store food the right way.
- Make sure people follow the rules for health and food safety.
- Help unload and store brought food and cooking supplies.
- During busy times, help the team keep things running smoothly.
- Do any other jobs like these that the Head Chef or Kitchen Supervisor gives you.
Requirements:
- If possible, you should have worked in a kitchen or a service setting before, but it’s not necessary.
- Being able to work in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong ability to work with others and talk to them.
- Be ready to work different times, even on holidays and weekends.
- Basic understanding of how to keep food safe and clean.
- Having a good mood and wanting to learn.
